Constructing and running a "Geophysical station"

Project summary: (to be discussed ..): Main goal of the GP-station group is to build a automated instrument capable of measuring geophysical interesting parameters, namely magnetic field ( electric filed?, seismic activity? etc...). Members of the group, beside having *the* coolest T-shirt, will acquire experience in building scientific instruments and knowledge about process automatization using computers. Knowledge of some programming language or electronics is desirable (although not essential)
